Common Questions

Before you reach out

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often. Still have something on your mind? Just call or email — we're fast.

Correct — our advisory services are free to your business. Amplifier One is compensated by the technology suppliers in our network, similar to how a mortgage broker is paid by the lender, not the homebuyer. You get expert, vendor-neutral guidance at no out-of-pocket cost.
We learn about your business — your current technology environment, upcoming projects, pain points, and goals. No pitch, no pressure. At the end we'll give you honest perspective on where we can help and where you'd be better served elsewhere. If there's a fit, we'll outline next steps. If not, you'll still leave with useful information.
Not at all. We're based in San Luis Obispo on the Central Coast, but we serve businesses across California, Arizona, Nevada, and beyond. Most advisory work happens remotely via video call and phone, and we travel to clients when in-person is the right approach.
We work best with mid-market businesses and organizations — typically 5 to 500 employees — that have real IT and telecom complexity. This includes companies across technology, healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, retail, legal, and financial services. If you're managing multiple vendors and feel like your technology is out of control, we're probably a good fit.
We move fast. After an initial call, most assessments and market-pricing reviews can begin within 1–3 business days. If you have an upcoming renewal with a tight timeline, mention it — we prioritize time-sensitive situations and can often compress our process significantly.
